Cookie Policy | Kinetiq Performance Group
Last updated: October 2026
1. What are cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use equivalent browser storage (localStorage) for preference settings. Strictly necessary storage is used without consent; all other storage and tracking only runs after you consent via our cookie banner.
2. Consent and changing your choice
On your first visit our banner offers equally accessible 'Accept all', 'Reject all' and 'Customise' options; non-essential cookies stay off until you choose, and rejecting is never harder than accepting. You can withdraw or change consent at any time via the 'Cookie preferences' link in the website footer (or your browser settings). Withdrawal takes effect immediately for new tracking; cookies already set are not re-sent.
3. Strictly necessary (always active)
• Platform session & authentication storage — Base44 (our hosting provider) — keeps you securely logged in — session duration. • Consent preferences (localStorage) — Kinetiq — remembers your cookie choices so we do not have to ask on every visit — 12 months or until you change them. • Security and load-balancing storage — Base44 — protects against abuse. These cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality.
4. Functional
• Theme preference (localStorage 'kinetiq-theme') — Kinetiq — remembers your light/dark choice — until cleared. • Language preference (localStorage 'kinetiq-lang') — Kinetiq — remembers your language — until cleared. These are used only for the portal interface and can be cleared via your browser or the preference controls in the app.
5. Analytics (consent required)
• Product analytics — Base44 — aggregated, event-based understanding of which features are used, so we can improve the platform — events are sent only while analytics consent is active. No advertising profiles are built from this data.
6. Marketing (consent required)
• Google Ads conversion tracking (gtag, tag AW-18410378473) — Google — measures whether advertising led to a signup or enquiry; Google may set cookies such as gcl_au / google_ads-related cookies, typically up to 13 months — loaded only after you accept marketing cookies. See Google's privacy policy for what Google receives (including your IP address and device data). If you reject marketing cookies, the Google Ads script is never loaded and no conversions are measured.
7. Third-party content
• Google Fonts — Google — the site loads two typeface families from Google's font service for consistent typography; Google receives your IP address for this request. • Payment provider (Base44 Payments) — payment details are collected on the provider's checkout domain, which sets its own strictly necessary cookies to process your payment securely. Video or social embeds, where present, are loaded only on user click and set cookies under the respective provider's policy.
8. Managing cookies in your browser
You can delete or block cookies and site data through your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary storage will prevent login and core platform functionality; blocking functional storage only resets your saved preferences.
9. Updates
If the technologies we use change materially, we update this policy and — where required — re-ask for your consent. The 'Last updated' date above reflects the current version.
